Arctic cod fishing in Lofoten
The Arctic cod fishing represents one of the most captivating experiences in fishing in Northern Norway. The name «skrei» comes from the old Norse word «skreið,» which describes a fish on the move. This traditional fishing captures the essence of the North Norwegian fishing culture, where the Arctic cod, on its annual migration, offers a unique and intense fishing experience.
