Niklas Ekstedt is one of Scandinavia’s most celebrated chefs, known for redefining Nordic cuisine through his signature fire-based cooking and deep respect for nature’s raw ingredients.

From his Michelin-starred restaurant Ekstedt in Stockholm to his international television appearances, cookbooks, and culinary innovations, Ekstedt has become a pioneer of modern open-flame gastronomy—where tradition, creativity, and sustainability meet.

In Fire in the Fjord, Ekstedt and his team will bring their passion for elemental cooking to Nusfjord Village & Resort from May 28–31, 2026, creating a multi-sensory dining experience inspired by the wild beauty of Lofoten and the untamed spirit of the North.

Thursday, May 28th

Welcome to the breathtaking landscapes of Lofoten Islands, where your culinary adventure begins.

For the first time, Nusfjord will host a curated culinary-art experience unlike any other. Explore a thought-provoking artistic installation paired with flavors inspired by nature and human connection. As you move through the experience, each stop offers small bites and drinks that create a sensory dialogue between image and taste.
 
– The Grand Final Dinner with Niklas Ekstedt  –
 
Celebrate the culmination of your journey with an expansive multi-course tasting menu crafted by Niklas Ekstedt and his Michelin star team. The meal is a tribute to Lofoten’s wild bounty — featuring foraged herbs, meat from Horn Slakteri, seaweed from the coast, and elemental fire. Paired with expressive wines and local aquavit, it becomes a closing chapter of fire, story, and soul.

Payment Terms:
An electronic pre-payment invoice will be issued prior to arrival, with a 14-day payment term.
