This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious person (or couple) with a strong background in the high-end tourism, hotel, or hospitality sector to take Nusfjord into its next chapter of growth and international recognition.

General Manager's Key Responsibilities
- Full operational and strategic responsibility for Nusfjord, including financial management, daily operations, maintenance, and development projects across the 26,000-acre property.
- Leadership and development of the team with direct responsibility for team leads in F&B, hotel operations, guest relations, and maintenance.
- Drive sales, marketing, promotion, and concept development in close collaboration with ownership and the Living & Leisure division.
- Maintain and strengthen Nusfjord’s market position through relationship building with local stakeholders, tourism partners, and the business community.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, budgetary frameworks, and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of quality and guest experience.
- The General Manager reports to the Director of Leisure & Lifestyle at Carucel
Who We Are Looking For
A dedicated leader with extremely high ambitions, a hands-on mindset, and the humility to lead from the front.
- Solid experience from high-end hospitality, tourism, or hotel management, preferably with boutique or destination properties.
- Deep understanding of Scandinavian culture and guest expectations.
- Strong commercial and operational competence with proven financial results.
- A natural relationship builder and motivator with excellent communication skills.
- Personal interest in and value alignment with nature-based experiences, food culture, and adventure activities such as skiing, surfing, and trail running.
Location
This is an onsite role in Nusfjord, Lofoten, requiring full presence, engagement, and integration into the local community and daily operations. Nusfjord is a lifestyle as much as it is a workplace.
