Here we have listed the questions we often get from our visitors. If you cannot find an answer to what you are looking for, please contact us. We would very much like to hear from you.
To get to Nusfjord, you would have to take a flight to Oslo, then from Oslo to Bodø and lastly from Bodø to Leknes. Leknes Airport is a 30-minute drive from Nusfjord. We offer airport transfer from Leknes to Nusfjord if needed.
It is also possible to take the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes (3-4 hours), and drive from Moskenes to Nusfjord. Takes about 1 hour to drive. We also offer transfer from the ferry dock to Nusfjord if needed!

For bus schedules, check out Reis Nordland. Nearest bus stop is “Nusfjord Kryss”, 6 km from Nusfjord. Unfortunately, there is only one bus going in to Nusfjord on Tuesdays, from September to June. Due to the lack of public transportation, the best way to explore the Lofoten Islands is to drive yourselves or book transfer with us.

It is not possible to book time in the spa when you are not a guest at Nusfjord, unfortunately.
Unfortunately, our Rorbus are not accessible by wheelchair. All accommodations have at least two steps of stairs, narrow doors and high doorsteps.
The village and harbour is accessible by wheelchair. So is Restaurant Karoline, Oriana Tavern, Aurora Foodbar and Salteriet Gallery.
We do not have a grocery store in Nusfjord, unfortunatley. The nearest grocery store is in Ramberg, Bunnpris, and it takes approximately 15-20 minutes to drive there. It is also possible to go to Leknes, which offer a wide range of grocery stores and other shops. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from Nusfjord to Leknes. In Leknes you can also find the only store that offers wine and spirits, Vinmonopolet.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add an extra bed to the cabin or make the sofa as a bed. If you have a child with you, and would like to rent a baby cot, we offer this for an extra charge of 100 NOK per night.
We do not offer laundry service in Nusfjord, unfortunately.
Pets are not allowed.
